Should we make a separate thread listing some criteria for a staff position? The wiki is getting larger, which I believe means we should up our criteria. For instance, we might add an edit count you should have before applying (100? 150?), or at least two weeks on the wiki?
To be honest, I really don't care about edit counts and time you've been on the wiki. It's important what you've done for the wiki and what you're able to do with rights.
For example, somebody may've been on a wiki for three years and have made 20k edits. However if you've done that in only 3 short periods and all those edits were just 5kb difference edits you haven't been doing as much as somebody who has been busy with css and templates all the time maybe. Those cost more time, though all the stuff needs to be done.
That makes sense, but not all of someone's edits are always CSS edits (Most of my edits are half and half), and if you make 250 edits, at least some of those are going to end up being more than 5kb difference edits..
